Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

Score (“we”, “us”, “the app”), available at go-score.app, lets you follow your favourite sports teams and competitions and see their fixtures, results, standings, and news. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. By using Score you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information: the email address and password you use to sign up. Passwords are stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text.
  • Your preferences and favourites: the teams and competitions you follow, and settings such as timezone, spoiler protection, calendar visibility, and your calendar feed token.
  • Technical data: standard request and device information (such as IP address and browser type) processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the service.

We do not collect payment information, and we do not sell your personal data.

How we use your information

  • To create and maintain your account and keep you signed in.
  • To personalise your dashboard, feeds, and calendar with the teams and events you follow.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the app.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run Score. Your account and data are stored with Supabase (authentication and database), and the app is hosted on Vercel. Sports schedules, scores, standings, and related content are fetched from third-party sports-data sources (including TheSportsDB, ESPN, api-sports.io, and Wikipedia) and news from Google News. We request public sports data from these sources; we do not share your personal information with them.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Calendar subscription links

If you subscribe an external calendar (e.g. Google, Apple, or Outlook) to your Score calendar, we generate a private feed URL containing a secret token. Anyone with that URL can view your calendar of fixtures, so keep it private. You can stop using it at any time.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your profile, favourites, and preferences from our database. Some information may persist for a short period in routine backups before being overwritten.

Children

Score is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
